Hong Kong, July 26, 2023 – LTG/Re-Teck is proud to announce the establishment of its Global Sustainability Steering Committee, an integral part of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) process. This committee reflects our unwavering commitment to sustainability and will play a key role in integrating sustainable practices into our company’s strategy and operations.
The Committee will consist of senior-level members from various functional areas within the company. These individuals possess the expertise and influence necessary to leverage resources within their respective domains for a holistic approach to sustainability challenges. The CEO will appoint the Committee members and designate a Committee Chair responsible for setting agendas and driving the Committee’s direction.

The Committee will oversee the implementation of systems, policies, and processes necessary to achieve the company’s sustainability objectives. This includes monitoring and addressing sustainability risks while making appropriate recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Another vital responsibility of the Committee will be to develop and approve disclosures regarding our sustainability practices. These disclosures will be shared publicly and will be updated periodically based on shareholder feedback, ratings, changing conditions, or new assessments.
Moreover, the Committee will play a pivotal role in the development and approval of sustainability programs and process changes aimed at achieving established ESG goals. By continuously reviewing and enhancing our initiatives, we aspire to be at the forefront of sustainability within our industry.
As part of their duties, the Committee members or Chair will provide regular updates to the Board of Directors regarding the progress of sustainability efforts, actions taken by the Sustainability Steering Committee, and the latest public scoring for the ESG categories. Through regular meetings, the Sustainability Steering Committee will review the progress and priorities of our sustainability initiatives, fostering accountability at all levels of the organization. Moreover, the Committee will have the flexibility to establish short-term sub-committees for addressing specific sustainability topics, ensuring a comprehensive and targeted approach.
